O T T A W A – Ron Cannan, MP Kelowna-Lake Country, will be delivering a Standing Order 31(S031) in the House of Commons today at approximately 11 AM PST. Mr. Cannan will be using his allotted one-minute Member Statement to thank retiring City Manager Ron Born for his 30 years of public service.

“Having the opportunity to serve as Kelowna City Councillor for 9 years, I appreciated Ron’s leadership and ability to make things happen.    Kelowna has seen unprecedented economic growth and has become one of the great jewels of the Okanagan,” notes Cannan. “Ron is an excellent example of a public servant who always conducted himself with both honour and integrity.”
